A total of 1,500 foreign tourists on board the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s Legend of the Sea arrived in Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO-recognised world cultural heritage site, in the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh, on Feb. 9.

Ha Long Bay has so far this year welcomed three cruisers with more than 2,300 holiday-makers, mainly from Europe, the US and the Republic of Korea.

Hanoi and Ha Long Bay has been selected by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism’s promotion programme as two destinations of the national tourism year 2010.
