Brief description: Mai chau is a beautiful valley of the Thai people – one of the largest group in 54 ethnic minorities in vietnam. It is located in the North west of Hanoi(145km), This region covered by rich tropical forest, limestone panoramas, and beautiful rice paddies with water wheels and enjoys breathtaking scenery. This trip will be a great choice to talk with nature, visit and enjoy local food in the traditional house-on-stilt of the Thai.

Day 1: Ha noi – Hoa Binh - Mai Chau - Pu Luong(L,D)
Pick you up from your hotel at 8.00am. Transfer to Mai Chau, riding on a very nice road and passing through spectaculars on routes. Arrival in Poom Coong village at about 11.30am, welcome drink with vietnamese green tea then take a short walk around the village to visit Thai people, then lunch will be served here on traditional house-on-stilt. By 2:00 pm, leaving here for our short ride (15 min) to Ma river. Boating is our next adventure. We are rafting on the boat for about 30 min, and then we start our walk for 2 hours through beautiful villages, hill sides, magnificent rice paddies, water wheels… And one of the highlight on this walk is to experience the everyday life and culture White Thai people and stay in their traditional house on stilts as honored guests. Again boat ferries across the river, we hit the road to Sai village (also the Thai) where we will be having dinner and stay at their traditional house on stilts.

Day 2: Hang village - Kho Muong village (B,L,D)
Breakfast served by Thai people, Getting started at 8 a.m for our trek. We will take 5 to 6 hrs for trekking .The trek route is not easy for trek with some steep climbs and take a small adventure for stream cross to take beautiful views of valley, rice terraces, rich rain forest, streams… Picnic lunch on the way at Eo Ken village, arrival in Hang village for homesay. After Hang village arrival, free to walk around village to know deeply about Ethnic people in Vietnam. Homestay with house on stilt of Thai People. Chance to try Vietnamese corn or rice wine with host

Day 3: Pu Luong - Hanoi (B,L)
Breakfast, then say thanks for lovely homestay. Preparing for 4 hours easy trek. En trek route, chance to enjoy other nice scenery of rice terrace, limestone mountain and deep green valleys. End of the trekking route to join Pho Doan market, then lunch local restaurant here before take land cruiser to come back Hoi Noi.
