The Muong Hum market is about 45 km from north-western Lao Cai Town. This market has preserved nearly intact its life - style, imbued with culture tradition. Muong Hum market convenes on every Sunday is a place where local people meet and communicate.

The town is awakening by human and horses sounds and colored by the costume worm by local people come down from mountain around. On the day, the elderly often have heart - to - heart talks while young people are absorbed in intimate chats or fix on their wedding date. Much more can speak about Muong Hum market. This peaceful mountainous area has in itself numerous traditional cultural features that are well reflected in festivals.

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai  by night train

Impress travel’s staff pick you up in the hotel then drive to Hanoi station for a night train to Sapa (overnight on the train, the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper and air-conditioning), you can book the whole cabin or you can share with 2 other persons.  There are several train depart from Hanoi station between 7pm to 10pm, the journey is about 8,5 hours, the end in Lao Cai Station.

Day 1:  Lao Cai – Sapa, trek to Ta Van village (B,L,D)

The train arrives in Lao Cai at 6.30 a.m,  Our Impress team will  welcome you by your name sign. We drive up to Sapa about 50 minutes on Car / Van,  you will be taken to a small guesthouse for a morning showers then your breakfast at a local restaurant here. After breakfast & short morning break, we start trekking from Sapa town. Our trekking route is from here to through the villages of Hmong and Dzay people, chances to meet the locals working on the mountainsides or the rice terraces, kids ride on back of buffalo, to take photograph of  picturesque valleys & awesome scenery. We have picnic lunch on trekking route, and then keep on trekking to Ta Van village of Dzay people, where you will be warmly welcomed by the host, share the dinner with them, and stay at their traditional wooden house.

Day 2: More trek and get back to Sapa (B)

Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast; take the road to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross MuongHoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong. Get back to Sapa by Car / Van. On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings. Check in hotel. and your free time to explore the corners of Sapa town

Day 3 - Sunday: Sapa to Muong Hum market and night train to Hanoi (B,L)

Getting up early for breakfast, checking out the hotel, and then driving down to Muong Hum market (100 km from Sapa). When we are about to arrive, we will see a lot of hill tribes carrying with them the home-made products or pulling dogs, buffalos on their way heading to the market. You are free to get around the market and witness their trading activities, please be soft and nice to the locals since they will not like being taken photo without their permission. You might like to have your lunch here at the stall inside the market? Let’s see what is like then you can decide there. In the afternoon, we transfer to Lao Cai town before dark, dinner at your own before our train ride at 8.50 p.m back to Hanoi. After 8,5 hours, you arrive in Hanoi station at 5.30 Am, Impress team will support you to get back your hotel in early morning
