3 beginning days in 2010, Xuyen Moc district welcomed some 20,000 tourists, in which that Sai Gon- Binh Chau tourism area and Sai Gon-Ho Coc tourism area (under Sai Gon- Binh Chau Tourism JS company) welcomed 11,000 customers for sight-seeing, mub-bathing, spa… up 20% over the same period last year, especialy the Vietnamese overseas and foreigners reached 700 guests. Mr.Trinh Ngoc Viet, Vice General Director of company said that: In two days January 1st and 2nd, each day the company received some 600 customers. The demand for booking room of tourists was very high, but the company did not enough room, so, many tourists had to spend night by camping or rent motels nearby the tourism area. The total turnover of company in Tet occasion reached about VND 1 billion.

Thuy Duong hotel and tourism area (Dat Do district) in the first 3 days of New Year welcomed some 4,000 tourists for relaxing, sea-bathing. The capacity of room in January 1st and 2nd reached 100%, in January 3rd reached 70%. In recent days, Anoasis Beach Resort (Long Dien district) always has reached capacity of room 100%, in Tet occasion only the resort received about 4,000 tourists.

Most of hotels, resorts of Vung Tau city were full of customers within January 1st and 2nd but did not overload as the holidays before. So, although the price of rooms and serives was higher than the nomal days, but tourists still received.

According to leaders of tourism agents, hotels, the number of tourists to Ba Ria- Vung Tau was higher than the same period last year, was the good sign for a year of crowd tourists.
