According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry recently meeting with Hai Phong city and agreed to organize the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta region in 2013. The opening ceremony of National Tourism Year to be held on 11-5-2013 at Hai Phong city.

After opening the week with many festivals-cultural activities, linked to the Red River civilization, such as food fairs Festival Red River Delta; photo exhibition with the theme “Discover the Red River” ; Assembly amateur opera theater; village festivals; performing arts of civilization, with the participation of many international companies and organizations linked workshops on tourism development in the province of Dong Red River …

National Tourism Year 2013 held associated with the program deployment process of economic development – economic development of provinces and cities of the Red River Delta region, Hai Phong city and the country, contributing to the objectives of the tourism industry, improve the position of Vietnam tourism in the international arena.
